Rainforest Munnar

The natural surroundings were so calm and peaceful, and the service was good too, especially from Manager Mini madam. This was a memorable stay at Rain forest. Visiting the place and nearby areas can make you feel like you've reached somewhere in Europe.

The caretaker aunty was rude and abusive, and made fun of us when we felt helpless. Once you check in for the evening, you can't go outside until the next morning because the hotel is surrounded by forest. We were also worried that nobody asked to see our ID cards. Our tour agency, Happy to explore, booked the place for us; they operate under the names Thejas Vishnu Shankar Priya Yasna. This isn't a 3-star hotel, it's more like a homestay. The bedsheets were unhygienic, staff were lacking, and dinner was poor quality despite the high price.

We chose the Primary Suite, and it felt like good value for the money. The floorplan is very spacious, with a separate lounge and living area, plus panoramic windows facing an uninterrupted forest view. The rooms are clean and luxurious, and there are lots of options for different budgets and group sizes.

The food was amazing, and we were treated with lovely hospitality. We spent one night at Rainforest Munnar, with awesome weather. A must visit, don't miss Rainforest. Thanks to Rainforest.
