Vibe Munnar Resort & Spa

Breakfast had lots of choices and tasted great. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely balcony view, and the service was top notch. The staff were exceptionally good and made us feel so welcome. We had an amazing time at this resort and would definitely come back.

We came to Vibe Resort Munnar for Valentine's Day, and there were good and disappointing parts to the stay. The room was comfortable and clean, staff were polite, and both dinner and breakfast tasted good with a decent range of choices. The problem was the room we received. We had specifically booked a valley view room for the scenery and balcony, which are a big part of choosing a resort in Munnar. At first we were assigned a basement room and told the other floors were full. We politely declined and raised our concern, then got a second-floor room facing the back of the hotel, without a proper valley view. We were told all the upper-floor, front-facing rooms were occupied, but later saw rooms being assigned to guests who checked in that evening. That felt misleading and disappointing. I hope management is more transparent about room allocation so other guests don't have the same experience.

I recommended this hotel to friends and family, and I'm glad their stay exceeded what they expected. Everything went smoothly from check-in. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, the food was delicious with a good range, and the location was convenient and well connected. It's reassuring when a recommendation leads to such a memorable stay. They enjoyed themselves and would choose the hotel again. I'd recommend it for comfort, good service, and value. We got a warm welcome when we arrived around 1:30 PM, but things went downhill from there. I'd booked a Legacy Room for one night and clearly asked over WhatsApp for a top-floor room. The team confirmed it, so I completed the booking and payment. Instead, they assigned us a basement room with no balcony view, just nearby buildings. When I brought this up, the receptionist asked for proof that a top-floor room had been promised. I showed the WhatsApp conversation with the confirmation. There was no proper explanation afterward. The receptionist said no other rooms were available and left without another update. We waited until 3:00 PM for an alternative or any response, but heard nothing and had to stay in the basement room. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled, rather than the room availability itself. Better communication and customer service would have made a big difference. We also lost more time, and check-in didn't happen until 3:30 PM.
