The rooms are spacious, and the view over the tea gardens and surrounding hills is hard to beat. It’s around 6-7 kms from the town centre, so I’d especially recommend it for couples or groups who want that scenery. The value for money was great. Room service could be better, though it wasn’t enough to complain about.

We had a lovely stay in this quiet spot among the tea plantations. The surroundings were clean and hygienic, the rooms and food were affordable, and there was a good range of delicious dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great choice for friends and families, with a calm atmosphere and a great location.

The morning view across the tea estate is really pleasant, but the hotel is a long way from the city. The approach road is in very bad shape, so be careful if you’re arriving at night. The rooms need renovation, and water leaks from both the room and bathroom. You can see water marks on the walls in the restaurant and room.

We spent two nights in Munnar with my family and had a wonderful time at THE NEW OAK FIELDS RESORT. From arrival through checkout, everything was amazing. The location was good, the food tasty, and the staff excellent. The Oak Fields Resort is a great place if you’re looking for peace and a pleasant atmosphere. I’d recommend it to everyone. Special thanks to the Resort Manager Mr. Fagin, who was ready to take care of all our needs without hesitation.

The view from the hotel is very good, but we had a terrible stay. It’s far from the main market, and the road to get there is horrible. The hotel isn’t maintained well. On our first night, there was no hot water and the toilet flush didn’t work. Breakfast was pathetic. The second night was worse: the lift wasn’t working, there was no water in the bathroom or drinking water in the room, and nobody was at reception or anywhere else inside to contact. A guest in the room beside ours searched frantically for half an hour and finally found one bottle of water. We checked out with a very poor impression.
