Eucalyptus Resort Munnar

We all enjoyed our time at Eucalyptus Resort, Munnar, and the peaceful corners were lovely for photos and memories. The rooms were comfortable and clean, while the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Surrounded by nature, the resort had a soothing feel that made our stay pleasant. It was a joyful, comfortable getaway for my family and me.

The natural view was the one good point, but our stay was disappointing. We booked a Super Deluxe Room after looking at the positive Google reviews and photos, yet when we arrived late at night, we were put in a normal room instead of the one we paid for. It seemed bookings were being taken without checking room availability. After we raised it in the morning, they moved us to a Super Deluxe room, but it was in very poor condition. There was dirt and threads on the door, corners, and bed, a dirty washroom curtain, leeches by the door, and even a frog inside. The TV didn't work, and the room was very unclean. The pool also looked poorly maintained and not safe for families or children. Breakfast was limited to idli and poori, with no bread or other options. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the property and guest experience.

The staff were professional and behaved very well, which made us feel welcome at Eucalyptus Resort in Anachal. Our room stayed neat, clean, and well maintained throughout the visit. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I booked after seeing the positive reviews, but the experience was very disappointing. The rooms had no air-conditioning or proper ventilation, and the hygiene, facilities, and hospitality didn't feel like 4-star standards. We even found a large spider in the restroom, which my kids spotted just in time, suggesting poor maintenance. The hotel is remote and hard to reach. Roads are poorly maintained, with big potholes, and after 6 pm the lack of streetlights made it feel unsafe. A car breakdown there could be a serious problem. I also felt the MD made commitments at first but didn't follow through, with more focus on money than service. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for families or couples concerned about safety, hygiene, and peace of mind.
