By 9 a.m. the restaurant still wasn't open, even though complimentary breakfast was mentioned. There was no hot water, and having no geyser at a hill station is unacceptable. No staff were available at night or until 9 a.m. to help with anything. The receptionist couldn't understand or communicate properly in any language, which made it very difficult to explain our concerns. I don't know why management hired someone for the front desk who can't communicate with guests. We called the phone number listed online, but nobody answered. It’s hard to even call this place a hotel. The service was extremely poor, and the whole experience was very, very disappointing. Do NOT choose this hotel for your stay.

The rooms weren't clean, the food was bad, and the service was terrible. Staff were rude, including at reception, where they behaved unprofessionally. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The staff were friendly, well trained, and the service was good. I've never seen this kind of service in Idukki before. Thanks to the Dhanya residency management for the good service.

At Dhanya residency, both the water heater and Air Conditioner weren't working during my stay. I told the staff, but they never fixed them, and I had a very uncomfortable night. More generally, service and support were extremely poor. Often it felt like no one was available to help with basic requests. The staff I spoke to offered no useful support or satisfactory solution to the problems I raised. With essential amenities out of order and staff unresponsive and unhelpful, the stay was extremely frustrating and uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this accommodation.

There’s a bar attached, plus a separate dining hall for breakfast and dinner. The only issue was the hot water. The food, especially chicken and fish fry, was really good, so people from Bangalore can really opt for this hotel. It’s a reasonable place to stay compared to Munnar home stay hotel and resorts, and the location near Munnar is the best.
