Mr. Binduraj came to meet us by boat when we arrived, which made the start of the trip feel special. He later took us around the village, sharing its history and stories, and arranged a peaceful, unusual fishing experience. The home-cooked meals were fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. Our stay at Munroe Inn Homestay was a whole experience that we'll always remember. A great fit for anyone who loves nature and wants a real feel for village life on a Kerala island.

The village walk with Binduraj sir was really good. He's kind, supportive, and knows a lot, and he arranged everything for us. The stay was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and very clean. We loved being there, and felt it was worth every penny. ❤️💯☺️

If you need a little time away from busy cities to settle your nerves, this place is a great choice. The food was delicious, and Mr. Binduraj's hospitality was a real plus. We loved our stay. Probably one of the best places to stay in Munrothuruthu.

The owner brought us by boat from the mainland to the homestay, which is on a separate island and can only be reached that way. The rooms were good. In the morning, he showed us around the whole village and explained different things along the way. It was a really amazing place and a unique experience.

The village walk with the host was a great addition. He explained the area's history, culture, and local plants and animals, which gave the stay more depth. The canoe trip through the backwaters connected to Ashtamudi Lake was another highlight, taking us through narrow waterways and a rich natural landscape. Getting picked up by boat was unusual and memorable, with a 5-10 minute ride through the backwaters to start the stay. Munroe Inn is peaceful and close to nature, with basic amenities, including a working kitchen. The food was delicious, home-style, and very reasonably priced, with a lovely touch of Kerala hospitality.
