Cocohut Resort

The location and staff were good, and Diveagar beach is within walking distance. But the rooms need a lot of renovation, and the price doesn't feel justified for their condition or the amenities. There were insects in the room and on the bed. The door lock needed to be twisted five or six times before the room would lock or open. There was no kettle, and parking was outside the resort because space is limited. Amenities amounted to a swimming pool and a few indoor options.

The location is good, but our recent stay was a nightmare because of the manager. The assistant manager spoke rudely to me and my sister, used slang, and showed no basic sense of how to talk to women. I called the police, and only then did they go quiet. The manager was unprofessional, unhelpful and plain rude. Don't waste your money here unless you're okay with terrible service and attitude. The manager needs serious training or a new role. I wouldn't recommend it. 1/5 stars.

The beautiful, peaceful location and ambiance gave us high expectations, but the service staff's behavior made the stay disappointing. They were rude, careless and unhelpful, with little sense of basic hospitality, and their arrogant manner made us uncomfortable throughout. When we asked for help or had questions, replies were slow and sometimes disrespectful. Good service matters at a resort, and Cocohut Resort didn't meet even basic expectations. Management should focus seriously on staff training and customer service. The place could become a great stay with better staff behavior and service, but for now I'd think twice before recommending it.

My family and daughter had a pleasant one-night stay. The setting has a nice feel, and being right by the beach was very convenient. The staff were friendly and managed to find us a room at the last minute after a technical glitch stopped us booking online. The bedsheets could have been cleaner, and the room needs better upkeep.
