Spring Nature Stay

The highlight of my trip was the food Bhaarti Ma'am cooked for us. Her Konkani meals are scrumptious. She made a chicken thali for dinner with chicken sukha, chicken gravy and an amazing koshimbhir with freshly grated coconut🥰 We had such a lovely time here, and I'm definitely coming back. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with adjoining cozy balconies. The caretaker, Mr. Ignatius, is extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful, and gave us excellent suggestions for where to go and what to see. I absolutely love this place and can't recommend it enough 🤗🤗

The food was a real highlight, and Mr and Mrs madrid made us feel so welcome. They’re warm, superb hosts, and the stay itself was peaceful and pleasant. I’d happily recommend this place.

Ignatius was humble and helpful, and arranged the things we asked for. The rooms are clean, spacious, and basic, and it’s a quiet place away from the city with several stay options. Since it’s inside Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, you can see and hear a variety of birds in the scenic surroundings. Getting there takes some effort: the roughly 1 km road from the main road is in very bad condition and has no street lights. There’s only one soap and no other toiletries, and there’s no TV or proper Wi-Fi.

The service wasn’t worth what we paid, and the food was extremely bad. Hot water wasn’t available even in the cold weather, and the responses to our complaints were unacceptable. Wi-Fi and the outdoor lights weren’t working either. The resort looks good from the outside, but the rooms were in very poor shape. The fans weren’t working properly, and the AC was in bad condition. We called the electrician repeatedly; he came to check but never fixed anything. Very disappointing.
