Suryaprabha Holiday Homes

The only thing to remember is that this is a three-floor building, so if anyone elderly is staying, confirm a ground-floor room. Surya Prabha Hotel is peaceful and very well maintained. Cleanliness is a real highlight: the rooms, premises, and swimming pool were all extremely clean. Wi-Fi worked well, there are play areas, and parking is available. The pool was good too, and the place has a pleasant, family-friendly feel. There’s no in-house kitchen, but plenty of food options nearby, so it’s not a major issue. The beach is about a 15-minute walk or 2-3 minutes by car. Highly recommended if cleanliness and comfort are your main priorities.

The setting is lovely, and the hotel feels new, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms, a pool, and a kids' play area. The landscape around it is beautiful. But the pool sits in the shade, so the water was too cold for my children to use. The slide and swing are under a coconut tree, with a hard surface below that could hurt someone who falls. We also had problems with service and housekeeping. Room service was slow, and staff weren't proactive. On the second day, nobody asked when we'd like the room cleaned or asked for the key. Later they said we hadn't requested cleaning or handed over the key. The water bottles we asked for never arrived. Our bedsheets weren't changed, and there was no fresh soap or other replacement amenities. The hotel has potential, but better service and attention to these details are needed for a comfortable stay.

The room and bathroom were roomy and clean, and the staff were nice. There was construction noise from the restaurant, though. My main disappointment was finding mold on the cushions, so check the room carefully before you settle in.

For a budget stay in Diveagar, this is a great three-star option. The hotel is very clean, and our room was spacious, cozy, and well kept. The staff were polite and helpful. There isn't a restaurant at the hotel yet, though they plan to open one soon. Plenty of nearby eateries or khanawal (eatery) serve home-style food, and I'd suggest having lunch or dinner at one of those.
