The convenient location is the resort's main plus. It's close to Diveagar beach, so you can get there easily at any time. The grounds look decent at first, with coconut trees and a swimming pool, and the indoor temperature was comfortable. Those things don't make up for the poor rooms, service, and amenities, though. For the price, room quality was disappointing. The rooms felt poorly developed, and the washroom was below average, with poor finishing and no aesthetic appeal. Lunch was average, and staff communication was clearly off. We were told Modaks would be ready in the evening if ordered ahead, but at dinner they said they weren't available until morning, which made ordering pointless. Breakfast was very poor, just poha and sheera with tea, with no basic coffee option. ₹5,500 for a deluxe cottage without hot water or even basic toiletries isn't justified. At that price, I'd expect a minimum standard of service and facilities, which this resort didn't provide.

The kids' play area and separate pools for adults and children are great for families. It's also just a two-minute walk to the beach. Food was good overall, and the fish fry is worth trying. Room service was a little slow with the weekend crowd and full occupancy, but that was understandable.

I left some belongings in the room, and the helpful staff mailed them to my home address. The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly. The resort is very close to the beach and has a nice ambiance. I highly recommend staying here.

The green surroundings and peaceful feel make The Stream Resort in Diveagar a relaxing getaway, with space for walks or unwinding by the stream. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully decorated with modern amenities. Staff were warm, attentive, and quick to help. Meals at the on-site dining area were tasty and generous, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying. It's also convenient for getting to Diveagar Beach and nearby attractions. I'd recommend it to families or couples looking for comfort, good service, and a rejuvenating stay.

I visited last week and had a really pleasant stay at the best resort near the beach. The staff were very supportive and treated us like family, especially the receptionist uncle. The food was delicious too, particularly the Chinese veg manchurian.
