How was this shack even listed as a 2 star hotel? Is Google Maps asleep while people get scammed? This doesn't deserve to be called a hotel, let alone a 2 star one. A traveler might put up with dirty rooms for a few hours, but the behavior is horrid, as several other reviews show. They shouldn't be in the hospitality business serving people.

The room is clean and maintained, and the lounge is basic but clean. They don't provide drinking water. You may find a better option for the same price or a little extra. I don't know who gives a 2 star rating to a hotel without a single amenity. Plenty of hotels don't even have a bellboy, restaurant, or room service, so customers have to spend time searching.

The people here are good. If you arrive before check-in and a room is empty, they'll let you in. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are easy to find nearby at different prices, and cabs for sightseeing are readily available. The zoo and Mysore palace are within 1.2km. The surrounding area isn't very clean, but it's manageable.

The pictures online weren't of the exact room I was given. I only found that out after booking, when an older man spoke rudely to me for asking to see the room first and told me to check the photos online. I put up with it for the sake of having a place to stay. There was no TV or water bottle, the bedsheet was torn, the bed was very rough, and without a mosquito net I couldn't open the window.

The location is good if you're looking for a room, but the rooms are very bad, so don't trust the online photos blindly. I wouldn't recommend it if your budget is over 1K. For under 1K, it's quite decent.
