Hotel Garden City

We booked two rooms for my family, one with four beds and the other with three, but the stay didn't meet our expectations. The wallpaper was peeling, and one wall lacked the expected color. Neither room had basic items like door mats, soap, or bath towels. The rooms weren't cleaned regularly, either. Mr. Sidhappa (receptionist/service provider) first assured us hot water would be available early in the morning as requested, but by the end the staff had become quite arrogant. I won't recommend this hotel.

There was a persistent cigarette smell, the service was poor, and the TV didn't work. Cleaning was infrequent, and we had to request water. The telephone service was unavailable, and there were no door mate or bath soap. Government bus services are lacking in the area, which makes it inconvenient. With these issues and safety concerns, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to families.

For an overnight stay alone or with other bachelors, it was OK. With family, completely avoid it. They charge cheap prices, and the rooms and service explain why. Their behaviour towards guests is cheap too. You can't collect food or orders after 11:30/12 PM, and if you go out or come back later, they start interrogating you. They lock guests in the grills and won't even let you walk along the corridor, with guards and the receptionist acting like strict hostel wardens. If you have your own vehicle, be ready to wake early to someone banging on the door and telling you to move it. No towels, soaps, or any kind of facilities are provided, so carry your own.

The washrooms were clean, but there were no toiletries. Mold covered parts of the walls and ceilings, and the TVs looked like they were from the 90s. Several didn't even work. The receptionist was extremely rude to customers, which left a bad impression overall.
