The reception boys were good and tried to help with requests, but the place is a lodge made by turning a small house into six rooms, not really a hotel. The rooms are tiny and unclean, with dust everywhere, torn chair cushions, and bedsheets that hadn’t been washed. The toilets were okay, but the seats were dirty. A toilet window looks straight out onto the Outer Ring Road, so having a comfortable bath isn’t really an option. I’d only stay here if I had to stick to a budget; otherwise, avoid it.

This hotel is on the outskirts, and the rooms don’t look as good as the Oyo pictures. We’d paid in full in advance, but when we arrived at 10.00pm, they didn’t give us a room, saying they’d ended their deal with Oyo. We had to search for another hotel late at night. If you’re thinking of booking, reconfirm directly with the hotel first.

Babu at reception was kind and spoke calmly and humbly. He even helped us book a cab for getting around. The place was neat and good for a family stay.

The rooms are among the cheapest and best in Mysore. It’s out on the edge of the city, but that shouldn’t matter if you have a vehicle. The city is small and traffic is very light.
