OYO 18600 Krish Lakeside Comforts

For a morning or evening stroll, Hebbal lake is only a minute away, and the residential surroundings are green, clean, and peaceful, though the area isn't fully populated yet. South Indian meals are available, and Swiggy or Zomato can bring food from restaurants across Mysore. I stayed two weeks and found the owner, a very nice gentleman who's around much of the time, eager to make the stay good. My room was clean and a little small, but fine for one person. It had AC, a TV, wardrobe, table, and chair. The bathroom was a decent size with a western toilet and geyser. The queen bed is on the firm side, which suited a longer stay much better than soft mattresses that can give you a backache after a couple of days. WiFi was easy to use, with no signup or data limit, and its 30 Mbps speed was enough for streaming. If you're going to Hebbal Industrial Area and need a budget stay, this place is worth considering.

The rooms are decent, though on the small side, and the hotel is within 500m of the main t Road. Cleanliness and upkeep could be better. The towels we got during our visit hadn't been washed properly.

The service was damn awful. We booked a room with breakfast included, but nothing arrived by 10:30 AM despite several reminders. They then sent someone toward another hotel to get food, and we waited until 11. When we went out to check, the person was just standing nearby without buying anything, while they were urging us to pay. After we paid, they said the bill would come by email or WhatsApp, but it never did. OYO has become terrible, and this wasn't worth the money. I advise against booking here.

We took all four rooms on the second floor. It was clean, with a TV, AC and the other basics. The lake is practically part of the homestay, just 50m away. A lovely place to stay.
