The staff were friendly, and the house has roomy bedrooms plus shared halls. It’s a quiet place away from city traffic and noise, though getting there by public transport can be difficult. There aren’t restaurants nearby, but Swiggy and Zomato deliveries took about 15-30 minutes. The OYO has been set up in a house built for a family. Staff said they may arrange pickup cabs in the future, so check with management before booking. I had a pleasant stay.
The interior was nice, but there were serious problems. Some bathrooms could be seen from balconies of other rooms, and there were CCTV cameras in the living area. Breakfast was promised for 8:30 but still wasn’t available by 9. The Saver rooms have bathrooms outside the bedroom, which none of the booking sites mentioned. There was no credential checking, and rules didn’t seem to be followed. Thomas on staff was very arrogant. I’m not sure how OYO approved the place. I shared videos and photos for reference. When I contacted OYO, they said the booking had been made through Goibibo and washed their hands of it.
The staff were extremely rude, and when we complained, the owner told us to check out. The TV and AC in the room didn’t work, and the bedsheets and pillows weren’t clean. If zero stars had been an option, I’d have chosen that. The worst experience. Never going back.
I couldn’t get through by phone despite trying repeatedly about an early check-in, so I had to cancel right at the gate and go elsewhere. I got neither a refund nor a helpful response from OYO, even though I’m a Wizard member.
The staff were really humble, and it’s hard to find a property with this many facilities at such a low budget. I had a wonderful stay here recently.
