OYO 27879 Mysuru Inn

We had booked through goibibo well in advance, but the hotel staff wouldn't let us in because they said they didn't accept online payment. We even contacted the Oyo person to sort it out, but the hotel staff insisted we pay an extra 2k for a room. We cancelled our one-day Mysore plan and went back to our native place. After we left, the hotel status was changed to ready. It seems this happens regularly, so don't book here or you could be another victim.

I'm from the north and don't know the local language in Mysore. I booked on the OYO app with a valid coupon, but at check-in they said they didn't accept coupons and charged the actual room price instead. I asked how that made sense, since online payment was available, but they said I had to pay cash or they'd add extra service charges. We couldn't communicate well in a global language, and after half an hour I paid, but left unsatisfied.

The staff were rude and had no manners, and nobody answered when I called the emergency number. There was no hot water, and the TV had no recharge. You can't even get a water bottle nearby. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, in some terrible area. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Please don't visit. A terrific place.

The rooms are average, and AC can be turned on when you need it. Parking is available for both two and four-wheelers. They should keep up basic standards, like maintaining the toilet properly.
