Mauve Orchid, Mysore has a traditional heritage style, with some historical appeal, rather than a modern look. The surroundings are fairly calm, though nothing special. Interiors are generally clean, but there are signs of age, including seepage marks on some walls, and maintenance could be better. Comfort is average, so it seems acceptable for a short stay, particularly if you like older heritage properties. Guests looking for modern facilities or greater comfort may be disappointed.

The rooms have an old, traditional layout, though they’re reasonably well maintained. Keep that in mind if you prefer a contemporary setup. Getting there by car takes some planning because it’s on a one-way road, and the stacked parking can be inconvenient, especially at peak times. The stay was pleasant overall thanks to the excellent staff. They were courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist. I’d say it suits people who value warm service, as long as they’re comfortable with the parking, access, and room style limitations.

The owner care taker was super friendly, and we loved the place. There are plenty of rooms to choose from to suit our preference. It’s a great place to stay.

The location is ideal for tourists, close to the city centre. Rooms were clean and excellent, and the service was superb.
