Samasth Room and Suites

Don't book this room based on the photos on websites or apps. The owner shows what looks like luxury, but the room we got was dirty and unhygienic. There were cockroaches everywhere, women's hair across the room and bathroom, and the mirror was dirty too. The bed was in terrible condition, and the washroom wasn't clean. I strongly wouldn't recommend it.

The only thing going for this place is its location. We chose it after seeing the Google photos and asking to view the family room. It looked spacious enough for all of us, which was the reason we booked it, but that wasn't what the stay turned out to be. There was a TV sitting on the table that wasn't connected, and the phone didn't work either, so there was no way to call reception if we needed help. No toiletries, towels, or water bottles were provided. We had to ask at reception for bottles, and they gave us two small soaps. They said the towels were at the laundry and would be ready in the morning, but that wasn't true. The bathroom tap leaked from all over when opened. The lighting was very dim, maybe to hide the details. The headboard area was dusty, and I had to wipe it because we had a baby with us. I don't think the bedspreads had been cleaned either. We asked for extra checkout time because the baby was sleeping, but they refused. I could have understood if they had done proper room service for the next guest. When we complained about everything, the two guys at reception just kept scrolling on their phones and didn't seem to care. I've stayed in smaller budget places with better customer service. Missing facilities are one thing, but the lack of professionalism was another. This is my honest review.

The place was filthy, with insects everywhere, dirty rooms and bedsheets, and an unclean washroom. Taps, lights, the phone, and the AC weren't working. They refused to change the sheets, saying they had none, and also said there was no soap, towel, or extra mattress, but still charged us in full. It seemed like there wasn't even a cleaning staff. The staff were rude and uncivilized, and it felt like they were just trying to cheat customers. Worst experience.

They insist on full payment, even though everything seems to be in short supply: no pillows, blankets, towels, soap, cutlery, or Wi-Fi. They wouldn't change the very dirty bedsheets, and the taps didn't work. They charged for a mattress but didn't provide one, and showed no regret about the poor service. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. They're openly cheating customers.
