Sanman Regency by OYO Rooms

The place was dirty, and they don't seem to have the basic manners to speak to customers. Customer satisfaction and a decent stay clearly matter less to them than money. I'd give it minus stars if I could.

We had booked online, but when we arrived at night they said there were no rooms. They'd apparently given all the rooms to someone else and told us to make do with one room. The bed, pillows, and sheets weren't clean, and there was no service or cleanliness to speak of. Staff were rude and had a terrible attitude. The service gets zero out of ten from me. Don't bother going.

The room was average, and drinking water cost extra. The price was too high, the heater didn't work, and the room lock was flimsy, the kind that costs Rs. 30. I don't feel our personal belongings were secure. The room was cool and the service was good, though I can't say much more about either. My intention was fulfilled. Hotel timing should work around the guest: the clock should start when we enter the room, with the charge based on how long we use it. If a booking is for 12 hours, at least 30% should be deducted. We arrive tired after a long journey and need to rest right away, but they don't seem to think about that. Guests need help whenever they arrive. This is my country and my hotel is a bad attitude to have. That applies to all hoteliers, not just this place.

The problems with the room made the whole trip much worse. We had booked for three people and the booking was accepted, but they gave us no extra mattress. The air conditioning in the room we booked wasn't working either. The washroom was unclean, and the cushions and pillows felt very unhygienic. The staff were no help at all. A really pathetic experience.
