The photos on oyo made the location look good, but in person the place was cramped, crowded, and far out of Mysore. We had fully paid for two rooms through OYO and arrived at 11 at night with my family and elderly parents. Two men running the hotel demanded extra money and said they wouldn't let us stay unless we paid. We refused, but OYO customer care was no help. I didn't want the argument to escalate in front of my family, so I politely cancelled and went looking for another hotel late at night. It was an awful experience with Kingston and SS cottages, and with oyo. I won't book with oyo again. Don't trust the photos and book this place, it felt like a trap. Oyo didn't help when we were dealing with those men late at night. Stay away and stay safe.

The hotel called me while I was on a trip, and the person on the phone used foul language. The staff don't know how to speak to customers and use vulgar language for no reason. I can share the call recording if anyone wants to hear it. Please don't stay here just because it's cheap, their behavior is cheap too. Seriously, don't come here.

The beds smell bad, and the service was awful. The owner tries to fool customers. I'd give this homestay zero stars. Please don't go.
