I stayed in a bed in the four-person shared room. It was clean, with AC, a fan, luggage space, and a locker under each bed. They provide a padlock for a refundable 50rs. The bathroom was shared outside the room, but most of the time it was just the four of us using it, and it was clean too. The reception ladies were welcoming and hospitable, and check-in was smooth. Do the online check-in beforehand for an easier arrival. The zostel has a nice ambience and a good place to sit and chat with others. There are eateries right outside, and it’s easy to get around from here.

You never get bored here, whether you’re hanging out alone or with friends. Best hostel in Mysore, hands down. Huge thanks to Pooja, Shubhangi , Pasha and all the helping staff at the property. The owners are welcoming too. Would recommend 10/10. Special mention for Simba, we love her.

The area feels safe and is easy to walk around at night, with restaurants and cafes nearby. The host was polite and really helpful. The room was cozy, though better curtains and some soundproofing would help. The washroom was tiny, barely big enough for me to shower properly. Also, the dog at the property barked at everyone for no reason and wasn’t friendly. Not everyone will be comfortable with that. The pet should be friendly, or they shouldn’t keep it there.

The lobby and terrace sitting areas had a great feel, with room to eat, have a drink, play games, or chat casually with other travelers. The washrooms were impressively clean, and the per-person nightly price was reasonable. I stayed at Zostel Mysore for the first time with my cousins for two days, and we had a wonderful time. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, so check-in felt smooth and welcoming. I’d recommend Zostel Mysore if you’re visiting Mysuru. It’s comfortable, fun, and good value.

I’d recommend it. It was a comfortable, worthwhile stay for my solo trip, and the zostel felt cozy. The washroom was well maintained and clean, with tissues and a water heater. I was in a six-bed dorm with AC and blankets. There was a locker under the bed for luggage, but it didn’t have a lock and key. There was also a pet dog. It’s accessible from the busstand, and the price felt worth it.
