We enjoyed our stay a lot and hope to come back. The river view from this beautiful location was excellent, and the food was excellent too. The staff were courteous, especially Mr. Surjit kumar at reception.

The hotel manager and staff were very nice and well behaved, especially Sonu Ji. The place has a garden, mountain views, and sits right beside the river, near Chamunda Devi Temple. It’s a lovely, luxurious hotel. They can provide hot ac in winter for an extra charge. The wifi didn’t work most of the time, and the bathing towels they gave us were mostly more like hand towels. I wouldn’t suggest this property for a work trip or a personal one. The rooms looked worn and hadn’t been kept up well, and the service was below what I expected. The food was disappointing in both taste and presentation.

Such a thrilling view of the riverside and snow-capped mountains. This is the best place to stay!

We stayed in a River Side Facing room. For the best river view from the balcony, go for rooms 201-209 on the second floor. There’s a clean garden by the river where you can have evening tea and watch the hills catch the sunset. The hotel’s architecture and interiors feel really authentic, and the resort is a great base if you’re visiting Chamunda Devi Temple. Seems well suited to mid-length or longer stays.
