OYO 8944 Hotel Red Carpet

The view from the hotel was just awesome, and the rooms were clean. We stayed there last week and had a really good experience. The hotel staff were cooperative.

It's a pretty big hotel, with a large room, bathroom, and a nice balcony. There's also a heater and AC. The food was pretty good, though the pizza I ate was really bad because it had too much ketchup. Any towel that's stained will cost 100-300 rupees.

Rajesh, the owner, is very humble and helped us plan where and how to visit places, which really saved us time. The rooms are big and have good facilities, and the food is excellent, with different cuisines that taste great. It's a nice hotel on the way to Dharamsala. OYO is doing a great job adding properties like this. I'd recommend it for a peaceful stay away from the crowds, especially for families.

The hotel sits right in the market area, so medicines, food courts, an art gallery, Shiv temple, a small river and the cantt area are all nearby. Dharamshala cricket stadium is close too, and Pleasant Monastery is within walking distance if you’re after some quiet. I spent two days here and felt very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the food is awesome, and the staff are well behaved and provide great service. The hotel food court has cakes and bakery items, good food, and comfortable seating for couples and families. The owner, Joshi, was especially helpful and a great guide. A happy trip and a lovely stay. Cheers to Mr Joshi and the team for all their help.
