The river flowing right in front of the room made the setting especially lovely. Rohit was friendly and very helpful, and the staff were courteous. Chef Rahul cooked delicious meals and even suggested dishes for us to try. I had a wonderful time and would love to return.

A lovely place to spend a few days away from city crowds and pollution. You can walk the paths, listen to the quiet stream, or sit on the rocks and relax. It feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, surrounded by nature.

Our 10-year-old son loved being outdoors, reading in the cozy corners, and playing board games in the common area. My wife and I found the whole stay peaceful and heartwarming, and the mud-and-bamboo cottages felt comfortable while fitting naturally into the mountain setting. We could hear the nearby stream and enjoy the scenery from the moment we arrived. The home-cooked meals were simple and delicious, and the host and staff served them with real care. Everyone was warm and attentive. We were glad to hear that The Earth House is now pet-friendly, so we'd like to come back with our dog. Long-stay options could also suit us if we decide to work remotely or take a longer break from city life. A great family retreat.

They might as well call it VYARTH (wasted) House. This was the worst place I've experienced in every respect. The rooms were small and shabby, with no amenities, not even heating.

Getting there means first passing a cremation ground, then walking another 10 to 15 minutes. That could be a serious problem for older people or anyone with a medical condition.
