Tree of Life Birdsong Chalets

The staff's service and behaviour really impressed us, and the food was excellent too. The hotel is surrounded by lots of greenery, which made the setting superb. Hats off to the team for making our holiday unforgettable. 💯

We felt truly looked after at Tree of Life Birdsong, Dharamshala. The property was beautiful and peaceful, and even our small requests were handled without any hassle. Everyone was warm, polite, and caring. Sikander, the Head Chef, made delicious meals, all fresh, flavourful, and beautifully served. Devraj, Head of F&B, took good care of our dining experience. At the front office, Shivam Kumar was helpful from the start and dealt with our requests quickly and with a smile. Mr. Vivek Sharma kept things running smoothly and checked that we were comfortable. Karan was always nearby when we needed anything, and Rishi was attentive throughout our stay. It’s rare to find service that feels this thoughtful. Thank you again :)

We booked a room three days ahead, but when we arrived to check in, staff said there was no availability and refused to give us the room. Two hours later they gave that same room to someone else. They seemed quite happy for us to leave. We also couldn't scan the food menu because there was no network, but they didn't have a printed one, and the menu itself was very limited. Monkeys were roaming around in the afternoon, and the restaurant and room had lots of flies and insects. I didn't expect this kind of experience at a Tree of Life property.

We stayed at Tree of Life Chalet, Dharamshala and found it peaceful and refreshing. It's a quiet spot a little outside Dharamshala, but still easy to reach, with lovely nature all around. The best Dhauladhar views are from the pool and garden. The rooms don't have the strongest mountain views, but they're cozy, charming, and beautifully designed with a Tibetan-inspired look. Staff were warm and attentive, the food was delicious, and the complimentary evening high tea was a nice touch. It's a good fit for families or couples wanting calm and comfort in the hills. A few additions might make it even better, like swings for kids, more reasonable bread prices, and a bonfire or light music in the evenings. The property is well maintained, has great vibes, and the view stays with you.
