We were with the Maharashtra team, and the poor room service left all of us upset. The room itself was good, but the servant was rude and lazy. Hot water was available for only a short time, water was a big problem, and there were also electricity issues. The hotel was very bad.
We couldn't stay even one night, though we'd paid in advance and weren't repaid. In just 12 hours, it was a horrible experience. The rooms were in very poor condition, the toilet and ambience were horrible, and the bed sheets and linens were dirty. The food quality was bad, and room service staff were rude and responded badly.
The hotel is far from McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala, so it isn't suitable if you're visiting those places. Food options are limited, and there was no arrangement for power cuts. The rooms were average, the bathrooms weren't properly maintained, and there were no electric kettles in the rooms.
The receptionist's response was, “At least food is being provided.” For 250 rupees, they gave us food that cost 60 rupees. The food quality was awful, the staff were rude and abusive, and there was no room security.
The rooms and beds were so dirty, the staff were rude and treated us as if we'd stayed for free, and the food had no taste. Worst hotel I've ever seen. Highly NOT recommend.
