OYO Flagship 80479D Ocean Blue

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but that option isn’t available. This was the worst hotel or lodge we’ve ever visited. Families should avoid it, since it seems to be used only by couples for other reasons. There was no pest control, and insects such as cockroaches were inside the rooms. The bathroom was filthy. The previous guests hadn’t even flushed the toilet, yet the staff said they had cleaned the room. There were also two or three used cigarettes left inside, and shoe prints were clearly visible on the floor, even though the staff claimed it had been cleaned. We left before our day at the hotel was over. Please don’t stay here with your family.

The bedsheet was stained, the bathroom was dirty, and the room smelled bad. Easily the worst experience, don’t go here.

The room itself was in poor shape, and the bathroom was dirty and smelled awful. The AC and fan weren’t working either, so I was uncomfortable throughout the stay. I was also asked to pay extra after checking in. That charge hadn’t been mentioned while booking, and it left me feeling misled after trusting the Oyo app for a clear transaction. I expect basic cleanliness, fair treatment, and transparency when booking a place to stay. This experience has seriously shaken my confidence in Oyo Hotels, and I hope they fix these problems so they don’t happen again. For now, I’d be reluctant to book with them.

I booked through #MakeMyTrip because the hotel was somewhat close to CIIMS hospital. My father had been admitted, so we needed a room in an emergency, but the manager refused to let us check in and demanded extra money. Even after I spoke with customer care, he still wouldn’t allow us in. The managers and owner are scoundrels, in my view. They keep blaming Oyo and other trip advisors instead of taking responsibility themselves. I strongly recommend never booking this hotel. These people are worse than animals.
