The Travotel Suites

The rooms were clean and decent for the price, the location is handy for the airport, and the rooftop Mocha cafe/restaurant was good. The check-in, though, was a bad experience. We were travelling with family, but the receptionist was rude and made us prove the woman with me was my wife, asking for a marriage certificate or a passport confirming we were married. I didn't mind showing documents. It was the insulting way they asked that bothered me. This is the first hotel where I've run into that, and staff need better training in how they speak to customers.

The standard rooms felt cramped and small, though maybe the suites are bigger. The other rooms are super spacious and fancy, and the location, service, and supportive staff were all good.

At The Travotel Suites, Nagpur, I found the food good and the location convenient. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were courteous and professional. Service stayed efficient throughout my visit. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

I booked it because I had a flight to catch and wanted somewhere near the airport. That was a terrible decision, especially for this price. The room smelled musty and stinky, the washroom was dirty and poorly maintained, and the bed furniture was in awful shape. The chair looked like it came straight from a garbage dump. The charging points were broken, and the plastic kettle was melted, which felt completely unsafe. Totally not worth the money. Strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
