Vandan Villa Rooms Service Apartment by OYO Rooms

Please don’t stay here. The staff were rude and arrogant, especially toward couples and people who don’t know Marathi. They told us to leave simply because our local friend came onto the property to deliver a home-cooked meal from his mother. The rooms were dirty and shady, with delicate locks, cockroaches, and stained bedsheets. It felt very unsafe.

They made us move to a different property or room for the first two days, even though the owner has several properties. The receptionist also woke us at 1 am to take an extra blanket out of the room. There was no lift, no hot water, and no kettle or tea set. The toilets weren’t cleaned and there was no daily housekeeping. Bedsheets were torn and wrinkled, and the blankets weren’t adequate for 10 deg C cold. One of the worst places I’ve stayed.

It’s a small hotel in a residential colony, converted from a house, with a lift still under construction. The rooms are small and poorly maintained. There was chewing gum stuck to furniture, and nobody had cleaned it. The bathrooms feel makeshift, cleanliness is a problem, and Covid protocols weren’t being followed. The staff seemed complacent. Not a good stay.

This service apartment is a reasonable priced, homely option compared with nearby hotels and service apartments. The property was neat and clean and followed Covid norms. It’s within walking distance of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar international airport, Nagpur, and has a passenger lift and WiFi.
