Abn Sarovar Portico Jim Corbett

The food and the people made the stay especially memorable. At The Clove, Ravindra Bisht and Mukesh Joshi were attentive, professional, and warm. The Club Sandwich and Veg Biryani were delicious, and the Hot and Sour Soup hit the spot in the chilly weather. Thanks as well to Kavita from The Flavours for making us feel welcome. Even with cold, windy nights, Deepak from Housekeeping kept bringing fresh wooden logs for the bonfire so it never went out and we stayed cozy. The rooftop restaurant and bar had a beautiful view of the mountains and the Kosi River right alongside. We had a wonderful stay at ABN Sarovar Portico in Jim Corbett (Ramnagar), and would recommend it for a soulful getaway.

We enjoyed having beer by the pool, where there's a bar right at the swimming pool. The food and in-room dining were great, and everything we asked for arrived on time. Room service was top-notch, the restaurant service was excellent, and the staff were very cooperative. Manager Dharam Singh and Neeraj, Kavita, Priyanshu, and girish deserve special thanks. The restaurant team was professional and polite. Hotels Is supertofantubulaclyfantastic... A perfect place to relax.

There are plenty of markets and restaurants nearby, and elephant, horse, and camel rides are within walking distance. On the property, we liked the many trees, the temple, and the play room. A clear stream runs through the grounds, though I'm not sure whether it is a river stream. The surroundings are calm, which was the best part for us. Service was great at the front desk and through room service. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in, and they did their best to get us settled early. The rooms were spacious, though the washrooms had a slight pungent smell. The pool is on the small side, so it may not suit someone looking for a big one. The property is in a village, and the narrow village road might be hard to adjust to, although that stretch is quite short. For a decent stay, it worked fine.

The hotel had a very nice ambiance, and everyone we dealt with was helpful and seemed to genuinely care. Kritika and Amit from the Front Desk team made check-in smooth, and Manoj Kumar from Housekeeping kept our room spotless. Priyanshu from Restaurant / Dinning was always available, helpful, and very polite. We had a wonderful stay at ABN Sarovar Portico, Jim Corbett. Thank you!
