The rooms look beautiful, and the views from the windows are lovely. Being outside the city means fresh, pure air, hills nearby that are great for trekking, and cooler weather than the rest of town. Staff were polite and quick, and the hospitality was excellent. I had an amazing experience.

We stayed from 25th march to 28th march and had quite a few problems with electricity, the geyser, and water supply. The rooms weren't in good condition, and the locks didn't work. The owner should pay attention to maintenance. The staff were very good and did their best to help.

Alpine Club is a boutique hotel in Nainital that offers a homely feel in a busy tourist town, with personalized service. It's 4 km from the crowded mall and lake, and a 10 min drive up Mallital from Naini Lake, on Raj Bhavan road near the highest point on Ayarpatta hills. The red Swiss chalet stands out in the dense green oak forest, almost like a fairy tale. Walks from here lead to viewpoints and birding areas, including Kilbury (4km), while Pangot (30km) is a short drive away and rich in birdlife. The Deluxe Rooms are the hotel's distinctive option, with wide views, striking decor, and modern amenities. Wood-paneled walls, solid wood floors, cozy interiors, and comfortable furniture make them inviting places to linger.

The hotel staff and manager were extremely helpful, and the food was excellent. We had a great experience. Nainital lake is 3kms away, and you can get a paid taxi from the hotel to reach nainital. There's also a dedicated bonfire space where you can spend a nice evening with family or friends.
