V Resorts Sattal

The food was fantastic, with plenty of variety each day, and it wasn’t too oily or spicy. There are lots of activities to keep you occupied, especially for kids, though I could happily spend the whole day on the terrace looking at the hills. The resort feels premium, and Usha ji’s careful oversight of everything is much appreciated. The setting is lovely, with the sattal lake below the hill and the resort above it. From here you can see the lake, green valley, and layered hills, and they provide pick n drop service to the lake. The owner was a gracious host, and the staff were well mannered. Manager Naveen Ji was especially helpful. Every penny felt worth it.

The hosts are wonderful and make an effort to mingle with guests so you feel at home. The staff are friendly and proactive too. There’s a comfortable, well-built in-house Bird hide where you can see a variety of birds. It’s a quiet place to relax, with views and plenty of sightseeing options around Sattal. Highly recommended.

The staff were warm, polite, and ready to help, and the rooms were comfortable and well looked after. The food was delicious too. Sattal Forest Resort is surrounded by greenery and has a peaceful forest feel, a lovely escape from city life. Waking up to birdsong and scenic views made it memorable. A nice choice for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature. I’d like to visit again.
