Balaut Camp - Resort

We planned a trip to Balaut resort with friends and had everything arranged, but Mr. Vikas and Ms. Akansha spoiled the experience for our whole group. At the last minute, he changed the booking amount, and Akansha ji said, “Now you have to pay this amount. How could you call someone else?” After that, Vikas threatened our friends and bragged about his money and power. His replies to customers and tourists are harsh too. Instead of improving things, he is simply rude to them. God saved us money!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is in a lovely, quiet spot, a nice break from the noise of the city. Our room was clean and looked after, and the staff were helpful whenever we needed them. The food was delicious, and the service was great overall. We’d happily recommend it.

The manager, Akansha, made a real difference to our stay at Balaut Resort. She was professional, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly. We also had a spacious, clean room and enjoyed the delicious food. Set among the mountains, the resort has a breathtaking, peaceful location. A great choice for families and people who love nature.

The resort is only about 10 minutes from Kathgodam, but it feels peaceful, with mountains all around and the sound of a river drifting through the grounds. We were lucky to have sunshine and a cool breeze during our family stay. There’s plenty of parking, and the prices felt affordable for the setting, facilities, and hospitality. It seems suited to weekend trips, family stays, and events. Our Cleartrip booking included breakfast, but there wasn’t a place to mention that we’d be bringing children, so at first we wondered if there might be an extra charge. Check-in turned out to be smooth and professional. Mr. Pann Singh Ji at reception was our main contact throughout. He was warm, polite, and quick to help with even small requests. The property is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with landscaped areas full of colorful flowers, attractive photo spots, and spaces that look popular for weddings and celebrations. The clean cottages were well maintained. Rabbits, parrots, and ducks gave the children something to enjoy, and there was room for families to spend time together. The facilities include swings, table tennis, a clean pool, and a restaurant and bar area with music. It was a comfortable, refreshing place to stay near Kathgodam without going too far into the hills.
