Bijrani Jungle Cottages by CYJ

It’s a quiet, decent place with little happening on the property, which suits anyone looking for real peace. The food is very good, but tell them what you want at least an hour ahead. Being close to the Bijrani gate is a real plus. They also look after you well when you arrive.

The cottages are clean and cozy, set among plenty of greenery, and waking up to birdsong was a lovely part of the stay. Bijrani Cottage sits right by the Bijrani Zone, giving it a comfortable but properly wild feel. The team were warm and attentive, and their local knowledge helped; they arranged the jungle safari smoothly and took care of the details. We got to enjoy Corbett’s raw beauty from a peaceful retreat. It’s a good base for wildlife outings, possible tiger sightings, and time to unwind. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a stay near Bijrani Gate in Jim Corbett.

We had a great office trip here with our group. It’s a calm, peaceful spot in the jungle near the river, and it can be booked for a team of up to 50 people.

The food was a real highlight, especially the Chicken Kabab's, which were unusually light and unlike any I’d had before. It all tasted like home cooking and was very well prepared. The staff were courteous and attentive, with Mr. Ganesh especially accommodating and available whenever we needed something. The rooms themselves are lovely, though ours hadn’t been cleaned very well, so that’s why I’ve given them four stars. The location can be great in the right season, but in May it was extremely dry and the river was almost completely dry too.
