The warm, genuine hospitality made Chirag Home Stay feel like home, and I’d love to come back. It’s in a lovely spot away from the crowds but still close to the main places. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the surroundings were peaceful with beautiful views. Highly recommended!

The peaceful location is a real plus, near the river and just a 10-minute walk from Baba Neem Karoli Temple. It made for a lovely quiet escape. At Chirag Homestay, the rooms were pristine and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend! 🤩✨🏕️😊

We stayed in the superior room at Chirag Home Stay in November’25 for ₹3500 a night, and it didn’t feel worth the price. The room and the overall experience didn’t match the charge. Basic facilities were missing, proper services weren’t available, and the staff weren’t cooperative during our stay. For the same or less money, it’s easy to find better places in Kainchi with cleaner rooms, better service, and a more welcoming feel. In response to Chirag homestay’s last reply: Thanks for responding. I agree our experience in June was better, but experiences can change over the months. As guests, we can only describe honestly how the November stay felt to us. Rather than treating this as an attempt to defame the business, it may help to take it as feedback that multiple guests are repeating, mainly about service quality and whether the price is justified. When many people raise the same concerns, it usually means something needs attention. Customers can decide for themselves if the stay is worth the cost. Better service and hospitality would naturally lead to better reviews and guest experiences. I didn’t intend to harm the business. After checking out of your property on 14 November, by Baba ji blessings, we stayed at another accommodation in Kainchi dham. There we found better facilities, proper services, cleanliness, food service, and warm hospitality.

We were charged ₹3500 for a room that didn’t provide even the basics, which was shocking. We got two towels and two Medimix soaps, and no glasses. Even disposable ones came only after repeated requests. There was no food or tea, and the staff showed no basic courtesy. The room had no intercom, so every time we needed something, we had to climb upstairs ourselves. Nobody checked on us once. The owner had confidently said, “Next time when you come, there will be no food problem.” That promise turned out to be empty. What made the stay even worse was the owner’s behavior in responding to reviews: he writes rude, argumentative, defensive replies, denies obvious problems, twists the truth, and blames guests. Saying we were “very comfortable last time” is false and feels like an attempt to gaslight paying customers. This homestay claims to be premium and charges premium rates, but the neglect is unbelievable. Hospitality should mean service, and this place fails at that. It’s overpriced, unprofessional, careless, and absolutely NOT recommended. Before replying rudely to reviews, fix the management, mindset, and property. Save your money and time and choose literally any other place in Kainchi.
