V Resorts Jungle Pool Khurpatal

The setting made the stay for us, with lovely views from the rooms and Nainital close by. We found the route easy to manage and parking was available. Our rooms were clean and attractive, the food was really good, and the staff treated us kindly. The whole place had a pleasant feel, and my family and I had a great time. I’d recommend it to people visiting Nainital or the surrounding area.

The location and view were good, but that was about it. The rooms were awful and weren’t cleaned even once; the dustbins were left uncleared too. The pool water was dirty, the bathroom hook was broken, and there was no water supplied in our rooms, so we had to buy it. Breakfast was terrible and the tea had no taste. Food service was painfully slow, and the food was so expensive, including a buffet that wasn’t good. At night, staff had a party and played a speaker loudly enough that the children couldn’t sleep. When we went out for a walk, they switched off the power. Staff were rude, though Shubham was the only one working. If you want family vacation stress, come to jungle pool.

I left frustrated and unhappy with the resort. Hospitality was poor, guest concerns didn’t get proper attention, and the facilities fell short. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves the service.

The peaceful setting, open grounds and good pool are real pluses, and the food was tasty, compliments to the chef. Staff seemed kind and well-meaning, though there weren’t many of them. There are different room types, and it could work for a large group if you bargain for a good rate. The landscaping looks nice in places, even if some parts feel clumsy. The room itself was uncomfortable, especially in winter. There wasn’t proper heating, and the cold interior materials made it feel extremely chilly. Hot water came only from a solar heater, so it wasn’t available at night. Storage space was limited, and there was just one switchboard with very few sockets, some of which didn’t work. Some sockets had no bulbs, wires hung exposed from the beams, and there was no TV. The interiors felt random and disorienting, and at night I found them a bit scary. The jacuzzi barely had any water flow and couldn’t really be used. Wi-Fi kept failing, there was no mobile signal, and it was hard to get a reliable connection to reception. The toilet smelled pungent and its hook was broken. Service overall was slow, breakfast was late, and the manager spoke bluntly and rudely, without much sense of hospitality. The manager also made commitments and didn’t keep them. Food seemed overpriced for the experience. I wouldn’t choose this for a winter stay. Around ₹1500–₹2500 per room, it may be acceptable, but if you want luxury or comfort in a natural setting, it may not meet your expectations.
