Classic The Mall Hotel

We decided against staying at Classic Hotel, Nainital after seeing the property. The rooms looked quite dirty, with visible dust and poor upkeep, and there’s no proper parking, which is a real hassle in Nainital where spaces are already limited. The staff’s rude, disinterested, and unprofessional manner made the impression even worse. Based on what we saw, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are better nearby options with cleaner rooms, better service, and proper facilities.

The window view was mesmerising, and that was the one thing I liked. Otherwise, the hotel felt overpriced. The staff were very sweet, but it seemed like they expected a tip. The man who brought our bags stood silently in the room for five minutes, and only left after my partner asked him twice to come out. They kept interrupting our personal time, which felt irritating rather than like customer service. Parking was charged separately, and hot water was available only in the morning.

The location is great, with all the necessary shops nearby. A nice place to stay, with good rooms and helpful staff.

The view is all this place has to offer, and you can get that at practically any hotel on mall road. The rooms and toilets were dirty. Our sheets had already been used, and there were urine stains on the toilet seat. When I asked the staff to clean, they said they couldn’t because the cleaners were on leave. They also refused when I asked for compensation. The food was okay, but the quality didn’t match the price.
