The fresh, clean sheets and towels made the room feel extra comfortable. We had a lovely, peaceful stay. Our deluxe room was clean, cozy, and nicely designed, and the staff were warm, polite, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

The family room’s lake view was a highlight. Waking up to that peaceful scene each morning was a treat, and the tasteful design made the room feel comfortable and elegant. Everything we needed was provided, with thoughtful details throughout. Staff welcomed us warmly when we arrived and handled every request promptly and with a smile. The hotel was tidy and well lit, and the fresh, spotless sheets and towels added to the comfort. Even the room smelled great. EKAM LODGE clearly puts care into maintaining its standards. We left feeling refreshed and satisfied, and are looking forward to coming back.

The place was filthy, there was no water or service, and the staff were very rude. It was hard to reach, the food was disgusting and very expensive for what little was provided, and there was no TV or WiFi. Not even worth Rs. 500/- per month. Don't book it, or your wife and children will nag you so much that the whole trip is ruined.

I design a lot of hotel properties, and I’ve never had such a terrible hotel experience. There were no listed amenities, no toiletries, no toilet slippers, and no 24-hour assistance. The curtains were stained, and the hotel is beside a sewage drain, making it impossible to come outside and enjoy the view. I also believe these hotels have an arrangement with taxi drivers, who rush new visitors by claiming there’s no parking elsewhere and that a proper hotel booking is needed to get past the police 8 kms ahead of nainital. It seemed to me that the drivers get commission for bringing in new tourists.
