Hotel Aravali

A very exotic property close to nature, where you can disconnect and feel like you're somewhere completely different. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the food was great, and the staff were cooperative and accommodating. A pleasant stay, highly recommended and worth the money!

We tried both the camping and bike rental facilities, and enjoyed them. The food and the rooftop restaurant service at night were good too. The manager was really helpful, and the staff and service were good. Overall, a great stay!

Room service was poor from the morning: there wasn't even a glass or water, and no staff seemed to be around to hear our questions. Later, the staff behaved in a way we found violent and suspicious. They had demanded full advance payment at morning check-in; we paid 60%, but by evening they were insisting on the remaining 40% or that we leave. We asked to pay the full and final amount at checkout, but with two families and kids and the place feeling scary at night, we left at 7:30 pm. It was a difficult situation to move with the children in the evening. We lost the 60% we had paid, but at that moment we were relieved to get our families out safely. The two staff who misbehaved were Kundan, and the owner was Mr Joshi, whom we felt was the main culprit. The place didn't feel safe for a family stay. Don't book this hotel if you don't want a precarious situation or your vacation turning into a nightmare.

The view outside the hotel is good, and a short walk around takes you to some very picturesque spots. It's peaceful, the staff are good, and the room was clean with comfortable beds and sofas. For a budget hotel in the hills, Aravali Mukteshwar is about as good as you can get. It's a little tucked away from the main road, so the lane is easy to miss.
