The sheets were stained and dirty, and the place seemed suited only to unmarried couples. The entrance smelled of sewage, the rooms had damp patches, and there was no drinking water or soap. Sofas, bathrooms, and balconies were dirty too. The lift wasn't working, so we had to haul all our luggage up to the third floor. We booked two nights but left the very next day because it was so unpleasant. Since the booking was non-refundable, we lost the money. A pathetic place, even a free stay wouldn't make it worthwhile. Avoid it.

After travelling from Delhi to Nainital, we were told there was no room for us, despite having booked in advance, paid ahead, and received confirmation from OYO. They said the property had only 10 rooms but OYO had made 15 bookings, and told us to contact OYO for a refund. They spoke to us very rudely. Don't put your money here. I'm giving one star only because there's no option to give less.

OYO headquarters suggested this lousy place. There was no nameplate, the plug sockets didn't work, and water was scarce. The place was dirty and full of flies and mosquitoes, and nobody was available to help with luggage.
