Hriday Bhoomi - Luxury Cottages & Villa

The property was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were some of the sweetest people we’ve met. We had a dog with us, and it’s a super pet friendly place. Every dish was made fresh and tasted amazing. The service was wonderful, with the team going out of their way for guests. Big thanks to Chandan, Jeevan, Gopal, and Bisht for looking after us. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

The food was the highlight for us. Much of it is sourced from organically grown vegetables nearby, and the authentic kumaoni dishes are a must. We overate at EVERY meal. Our pet simba loved the spacious green lawns and was cared for and loved by the staff. The property is beautiful and luxurious, set in Dhela, a very clean and green village. Chandan ji kept track of our route and guided us to the property when we were just 5 minutes away. He also showed us the village’s small-scale makers of soap, jute slippers, and fresh ghee, then took us through a lovely mango plantation. Gopal ji was active, caring, helpful, and made the service feel personal. The hospitality was top notch, even better than some 5 stars in my experience. We had a really memorable 2 day getaway, just 5 hours from Delhi.

We came as 3 families, 10 people in all, adults and kids. This was our fourth visit to Corbet and first to Hriday Bhoomi. We deliberately chose to be away from the main city’s bustle, and the setting in nature made us all cheerful. The drive through wilderness and forest adds to the experience. Open green fields, surrounding forest, exotic birdsong, and carefully planned horticulture give the property a welcoming feel. The rooms are huge, well ventilated, and naturally lit, with comfortable large beds and large bathrooms. Everyone on the property was cheerful and courteous, from food and housekeeping to the management team, and handled our many planned and unplanned requests. The food was amazing: pizza, pasta, chicken masala, mutton curry, upma, chole bhature, kheer, kumaoni raita, paneer do pyaza, daal, and more. The chef and team kept bringing out dishes efficiently. We also enjoyed the bonfires on both nights and the starters served with them. They booked our jungle safari in advance, saving us time. On safari day, the team got up at 5.30 am and gave us two flasks of masala tea, a big box of cookies, and 6 blankets. We needed them in the open jeep with cold air blowing from every direction. That gesture showed real care and foresight. Chandan ji and Gopal ji made the stay comfortable, and Negi ji was always thoughtful about our food needs, day and night. We’ll come back for Hriday Bhoomi’s graceful hospitality. Thanks for making our stay A Class.

My family, pet, and I stayed at Hriday Bhoomi for 5 days, and it was wonderful. The property is very well maintained, and I especially enjoyed relaxing by the poolside and garden. Our pet had a great time and was looked after very well. The staff were friendly and made the stay pleasant. Special thanks to Chandan Ji, Gopal Ji, and Bist Ji for their hospitality, and to Jeevan Ji for cooking delicious food. Definitely recommend it, and we’ll visit again.
