La Bellevue (Club & Resort)

The pool was in a shocking state, with algae, floating bottles, and tissue paper in the water. Cleanliness and upkeep were a serious problem around the property. At the ceremony I attended, the decoration looked hurried and unattractive, nothing like what had been promised or what the occasion called for. Food was another disappointment. Most of it, even breakfast, arrived cold. Guests had to keep asking for starters because they weren't brought to the tables, and the choices were limited for the event and its cost. Service felt chaotic and unprofessional. Several waiters seemed untrained, and one told me he'd come from a village in Moradabad just for the day as a daily wager when I asked if he worked there. The resort let the event down on decoration, food, hygiene, service, and basic management. I wouldn't book it for a stay or an event.

The new banquet is pretty decent, and it’s near pirumdara. Seems like a good place for weddings or parties.

The resort itself is nicely built, but they really need to improve the service. We booked it last April for my wedding, and there were a lot of problems. The pool water stank and was too dirty for anyone to use. The decoration wasn't what they promised, the staff were pathetic, and neither staff nor caterers provided food service. The owner made false promises too. They also stop playing the DJ after 10, even for the bride's entrance, because the owner's family lives there and apparently they don't want their sleep disturbed. Be prepared for that to spoil an important moment.

The owner's behavior made the stay miserable. He was very rude, and although he raised our expectations while booking, the decoration and several smaller things changed after we committed. The food wasn't great either. They served expired water and local ice cream to the children. The staff were good, but the owner's attitude made the whole experience and stay awful. Read the document carefully when you sign after booking, because they trick you badly.
