Naini Hill Inn

I stayed two nights with my family at The Naini Inn By Aspien Hotels. The property itself is decent, but how they handle service and charges left me disappointed. The cab pricing wasn't transparent. On our first day, we were told a trip to Dham would cost ₹2000. When we booked the same hotel-to-Dham-and-back trip on the third day, the charge was ₹3000, with no clear explanation. Food was also very expensive, at prices like a 5-star hotel, without service or an experience to match. Staff were slow, and we often had to follow up 3-4 times before requests were done. Almost every small need seemed to bring a high extra charge. Late one night, my wife and I both had health issues, so we asked the hotel for basic medicine and were willing to pay for it. Being asked to pay the delivery boy separately as well felt insensitive and inhuman, given the situation. The stay could have been much better with fairer prices, clear policies, and more empathy toward guests.
