My family and I had to flee from Nainital overnight after this happened. A night staff member attacked one of my family members with a stick or bat and behaved badly with us. When I tried to resolve things and compromise, he, Gurdeep, told me he had hit me with a brick. I needed 7-8 stitches on my head. We had paid RS .7500 in advance. The owner backed his employees, so I would tell families and solo travelers never to go to hotel nakshatra. Tourists are mad to Nainital and visit this hotel nakshatra with higher paying amount, while all gundays are there.

We felt uneasy and uncomfortable throughout our stay, and the place seemed shady and unsafe, especially for women travelers. The room itself felt suffocating, neglected, and filthy, with poor hygiene in every corner. There were no proper windows for ventilation, and the one window there didn't work. As soon as we entered, there was an unbearable smell of dampness and decay. Mold covered the walls, the sheets were clearly unwashed, and the toilet was unhygienic. It looked like the room had not been cleaned or maintained for a long time. The pictures on the maps and booking platforms were completely misleading and nothing like the room we got. It genuinely felt like a spare room not intended for guests, possibly given to us for some extra cash because we were only staying one night. This was the worst hotel experience we've had. Management showed no responsibility for guest safety, hygiene, or integrity. The property is unsafe and unacceptable, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it.

No water supply, no blanket, and the mattress wasn't good. The worst hotel, definitely not recommended.

The people were very bad, and so was their service. There are safety issues. Don't trust them.
