I arrived late in the evening on my first day in Nainital, and Mr. Suraj was warm and helpful. The hotel is nice to stay at, though it sits along a slightly narrow path. There was parking and the basic amenities, but I didn’t find AC. From one edge at the front, you get a good view of the city. I had tea and potato-onion paranthas for breakfast, and both were tasty. I’ve added photos, and you’ll have to visit to find out more.
4/10
The staff showed great hospitality, but little else about the stay was good. The place and room were untidy, and the room had a strange, uncomfortable smell. The washroom was dirty and smelled bad too. We’d booked for three, but were given a single bed. Breakfast was average at best, and the place is hard to access.
4/10
The location was really difficult to reach, and the staff were rude and irresponsible. Water was leaking in the bathrooms. OYO didn’t respond when I wanted to cancel my booking or change my stay.
6/10
It’s well furnished and equipped, and the hotel itself is good. The problem is the distance from the main area. You need to book a taxi to get to Tallital or Mall Road.
10/10
The food was good, and the hotel and staff were good too. The wifi network needs improvement.
