Tathastu Resort by OYO Rooms

We only stayed one night, but I’d like to come back. It’s a well-kept, very green property with beautiful views, and the breakfast was great. The welcome drink was tasty, and the manager greeted us with a big smile and was very helpful. We had a great experience with the facilities, staff, and location. Exotica’s in-room dining was amazing, and the hygiene and cleanliness inside and outside our room were unbelievable. The team were among the most courteous and helpful I’ve met.

Happy Nayal, our attendant, was cooperative and supportive, and the rates were reasonable. We had a good experience overall and would suggest the place to others. It would be nice if they added sports gear like a bat and ball or badminton equipment. The books could use an update too, as the ones there are old and in poor condition.

This is a small property of about 6 cottage-style rooms, quite a distance from the market, so it’s peaceful. It isn’t actually in Mukteshwar, but around 10 KM from Main Mukteshwar. I had to call the hotel to confirm where it was. There’s ample parking outside, and a few private banglow nearby. The rooms feel like cottages, with wooden floors and high ceilings, and are well appointed. They open onto a big valley-facing balcony, with open space out front where you can play cricket or badminton. There’s also a bonfire area and a reading room with a good book collection, though it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The owner has tried to make the guest experience different. Food is made on demand and takes 40-50 minutes, so plan around the wait. The chef is good and so is the food. There’s a waterfall near the resort, but it’s secluded and takes a long time to reach by walking down the hill. Good place for a peaceful stay.

The Himalayan views are breathtaking, and the large lawn and soothing sound of the waterfall made the setting even better. The staff’s hospitality and service were impeccable, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Mukteshwar Mahadev temple and chauli ki jali were a convenient distance away. If you want to enjoy nature at its best, this is a great choice. I highly recommend it to families and friends.
