The Camphor Tree - Pura Stays

The restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff are polite and attentive. There are plenty of open seating spots with direct views of naikuchital lake, plus a walking area along the shore and a path to the lake through the hotel. It's on the main road, but the setting is calm, with mesmerising lake views. The property is older, with some new construction and renovation, and it's very well maintained.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the property was beautiful, quaint, and well maintained. Our family of five had a very comfortable visit while exploring Uttarakhand, even with the heavy rain. The kind staff gave us an early check-in and an upgrade, handled requests without needing reminders, and took wonderful care of our older family members. Everyone was happy after checkout. The meals were homely and light, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and well cooked. With all our different tastes, we each enjoyed the food. The Moustache team really felt like family, and we had the time of our lives.

The setting right beside the lake is nice, though overgrown trees block part of the view. The room and food were good, with the Indian dishes better than the Chinese ones. The wifi was weak, and there's no heater even when the weather is cold. Also, the last food order is very early, which I wouldn't expect at a resort.

Sukoon impressed me with its food and lovely lakeside view. I was also really pleased with the careful service from manager Harry and his team, who kept us comfortable throughout. Our deluxe family room was spacious and luxurious, with the amenities in place and everything well maintained, including the bathroom. The Naukuchiatal property has beautiful lake views right on site, and staying at Moustache's was one of my best experiences.
