The Cedar Castle

From our room we could see the Himalayan range, and the peaceful surroundings were lovely. We visited a few days ago and had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were well maintained, the food was delicious and authentic, and there were games and activities for children. Families with kids would find plenty of what they need for a vacation here. Really loved it.

The rooms at Cedar Castle were clean, cozy, and looked after well. The polite staff made us feel welcome, and the peaceful, thoughtfully designed property was just the kind of hill retreat we wanted. We had a genuinely lovely stay and would happily recommend it for a getaway.

Satkhol is a remote village, and the resort is in a quiet area without much tourist rush. The staff were friendly and very helpful. From the rooms, balconies, and roof there are clear views of the Himalayan range. One of the best resorts here.

We visited in February. The room was beautiful, the view was lovely, and the property was well maintained. But the food service was slow and awful. The food came late and uncooked, was overpriced, and had no taste. A total letdown on food quality and management.
