The Earl's Court, Nainital

There’s a shuttle from the hotel to Mall Road and back, which is handy for a family trip to Nainital. The staff were especially courteous and helpful, and the food was great. This quaint hotel has a beautiful inward-looking courtyard, along with spacious, clean rooms. One I’d happily recommend.

The rooms were spotless and well kept, and the staff were very welcoming and cordial. Earls Court Nainital has a calm, peaceful feel, a lovely escape from city bustle. We also really enjoyed the food, with every dish prepared and presented beautifully. I’d recommend it for a relaxing getaway in Nainital.

The complimentary shuttle to the Mall Road made it easy to explore the heart of town without worrying about traffic or walking uphill. Having dedicated car parking on-site was also a big plus, since finding a spot in Nainital can be a nightmare. The Earl’s Court gave us a peaceful retreat while keeping the main attractions close. Our rooms were cozy and well maintained, a warm fit for Nainital weather. Meals were fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared, and we looked forward to each one. The staff were friendly and proactive from check-in onward, doing a lot to make us comfortable. It has old-world charm alongside modern comfort. We had an amazing stay and I’ll definitely return. Great for families, couples, or solo travelers.

The managers had no sense of guest comfort. I had to beg to be allowed to sleep in my own rooms with my little children and elderly mother, after paying lakhs for two rooms for five nights. I spoke to management, but they kept the same loud music and daily bonfire and karaoke going for the next four days. Drunk uncles sang what sounded like an autorickshaw hit list from the 90s. Smoke from the bonfire filled our room, with no way to clear it. The hotel has no understanding of why people come. There was no guarantee of sleep, and neighboring hotels also played very loud music until 10 pm.
