The common areas were great for meeting other travelers, and the location made it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. Hostel Ramgarh had the clean, comfortable facilities and friendly, helpful staff I was hoping for. The atmosphere was just right for a relaxing getaway. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone after a cozy, welcoming place to stay.
I spent four serene, wonderful days here. The hilltop setting gave me amazing views, and host Manish was accommodating. The beds, floors, and washrooms were clean and well maintained. As a solo traveler, I’d rate it 5 out of 5.
Sagar made our stay both enjoyable and relaxing, so a big thanks to him. We felt welcome from the day we arrived, with warm hospitality and a really positive atmosphere. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed when looking for peace, and I’m hoping to come back soon.
The tents were good, and the people there were helpful. Sachin was a very friendly host, the food was good, and the property itself is amazing in a wonderful location. But the pool was stagnant and poorly maintained, and mosquitoes were breeding there in huge numbers. No repellent was provided, so they disturbed our sleep badly. I woke up with bite marks all over my face and hands. The amenities could use improvement.
It’s a quiet, scenic place with helpful staff, away from the crowds and close to Mukhteshwar. Getting there takes some effort, though: once your cab or vehicle drops you off, there are quite a lot of steps to climb, almost like a trek. There’s no kitchen at the property, and because it’s out of the way, renting a scooty or car can be difficult. Local people can arrange one, but they charge more. The area shuts down around 8-8:30, so you can’t really get to the market later.
